Inside Coronavirus – The breakthrough!
The big step towards the “new normal” after the Covid-19 lockdown.
On May 16, 2020, the decree was approved The big step towards the “new normal” after the Covid-19 lockdown.
On May 16, 2020, the decree was approved for new measures in the more advanced post covid-19 phase 2.
During the press conference to announce the approval of the new decree, President Conte said:
“We are facing phase 2 with the desire to start again, but also with caution. The data of the epidemiological curve are encouraging, confirming that the collective efforts made so far have produced the expected results: the number of the sick, infected, and deaths has decreased, the number of the cured has increased.
We have also improved our hospitals: we have new intensive care units; we have a good testing strategy; we are about to try the new Immuni App. We are able to face this phase 2 with confidence but also with responsibility ”
Here’s what happens from May 18th to June 2nd 2020:
The most important change is the free movement of people within the region; it’s possible to travel freely within the region of residence, then reach the second house, take a trip out of town.
From 3 June it will then be possible to travel outside the region and the italian borders will be open so will be allowed to reach Italy from the European countries.
Reopening of bars, restaurants, hotels, hairdressers, beauticians and all shops.
All anti-contagion measures remain mandatory to access public places, such as restaurants, bars, offices, museums and markets, even outdoors.
Everyone must organize clients access to their premises so that there is always a meter away from each person.
Operators (waiters, receptionists, traders etc) will always have to wear a mask and wash their hands with alcoholic products after each service. In the premises, must be made available to customers solutions to disinfect the hands.
The cleaning of the premises must take place twice a day.
Customers should always wear the mask except when sitting at the table for eating.
A somewhat complicated restart, so it is necessary to be patient a little because inevitably queues will arise in front of the activities.
A solution that can make life easier for everyone, customers and operators, is to book in advance.
People are not allowed to create large groups, outside and inside.
The decree establishes that from June 3, travel between regions will be possible, if they are not limited by further governal measures; as well as the opening of Italian borders to and from the countries of the European Union and the Schengen area.
It is clear that everything depends on the trend of the contagion curve.
The movement of people will be allowed according to principles of adequacy and proportionality to the epidemiological risk and in compliance with European regulations.
We all strongly hope that the numbers continue to fall; we are aware that we will have to live for a while with the risk of infection, but we are strongly, concretely, and laboriously doing everything possible to limit its spread.
Our country, whose beauties have been the only protagonists of photos and videos in recent months, will be even stronger and healthier and ready as ever to welcome everyone.
See you soon !
