Orticolario 2024 – Villa Erba Lake Como

From Thursday 3 to Sunday 6 October, the 14th edition of Orticolario returns to Villa Erba. Much more than a garden show and a simple market exhibition, the event will be dedicated to the discovery of rare, unusual and collectible plants Orticolario 2024 is an event that combines charitable purposes with the desire to spread the culture of the landscape.

The theme of this edition is ”Terrae’: the plants protagonists are those for phytodepuration. They have been identified over 400 species suitable for phytodepuration of water and soils. Among these there are some very common, Also used in home gardens and garden as the cabbage, turnip, sunflower, corn, ferns, poplars, willows, hemp, Iris and swampy Canna indica.

The selected exhibitors are about 250 gardens and installations in the park, art and design projects inspired by the theme of the year that compete in the International Competition Creative Spaces to win the coveted “Golden Leaf of Lake Como”.
