The detached house with land and mountains view stands in its simplicity among the woods and meadows of this small and sunny village in the Valle Intelvi, a few minutes’ drive from Lake Como.
A house built on the ruins of an old barn, traces of which have been preserved in the basement in the beautiful cellars with the manger and stone vaults, as testimony to an industrious past of peasant families.
Ramponio Verna’s house welcomes you in a large living room, with a stone fireplace, a well-organized kitchen with a large window from which you can admire the beautiful landscape. Two spacious bedrooms are upstairs; each floor has a bathroom. Embraced by a large flat lawn and light wooded slopes, all the land is belonging to the house, around 10 thousand square metres.
It is an enveloping house, a house built with love, a refuge for family and friends, gets lost in the greenery and silence of nature. Ideal for those who plan a life linked to the cultivation of herbs and/or small fruits, too.
Ready and in perfect condition, to be lived in immediately in a comfortable and contemporary life style.
The house is located in Ramponio-Verna, a small town at 650 meters above sea level, very quiet and always sunny. It can be reached by car, crossing the historic center and via a beautiful asphalted and flat panoramic road.
There isn’t much in Ramponio Verna, but you will certainly find a Wellness Apiary, where you can regenerate with the help of bees.
Illustrious Italians have spent part of their lives in Ramponio Verna, Valle Intelvi, Lake Como, such as Piero Gauli, painter and set designer, and where there is one of the museums dedicated to him and one of his frescoes adorns the public wash house. San Fedele Intelvi, the center of the valley, is a few kilometers away. In San Fedele Intelvi there is everything you need, supermarkets, shops selling genuine products and a nice weekly market, as well as pharmacy, doctor, school and so on.
